Where is the Salem Farmers Market?

The Farmers Market is located in downtown Salem on the corner of Main Street and Broad Street. From Interstate 81, take exit 140 and head east into Salem. At the Main Street intersection, turn right. The Market is located 2 blocks down Main Street on your right.

There is plenty of free parking on the Farmers Market lot and nearby streets.

When is the market open?

The market is open from dawn till dusk, Monday thru Saturday, April 1st through December 31

What kinds of items will I find for sale at the Market?

The market offers locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jams and jellies, home milled baking flours and mixes, honey, flowers, plants, herbs, specialty items, and Christmas greenery.

When is the best time to visit the market?

While there are lots of items for sale during the growing season. The peak months are June, July and August, and the best days are usually Fridays and Saturdays.Come early for best selection!
