- Pay Online - Salem City has contracted with Official Payments Corp., to process your personal property and real estate taxes online. To pay online click here
- In Person - You may pay your tax at the Treasurers Office

- By Phone - If you desire, you may pay your taxes by telephone by dialing 1-888-2PAY-TAX (1-888-272-9829). This service has a convenience fee that is added to the tax amount, and does allow payment by most popular credit cards. Click here to see table of charges for these payments. Below are the directions for each step in the process to pay by phone.
- Call 1-888-272-9829 You will be prompted to enter the following information on your touch tone phone.
- Type of Payment. Enter a 3 for property taxes.
- Enter Jurisdiction Code. Salem's code is 1035.
- Press 1 to pay a Personal Property Tax or press 2 to pay Real Estate Tax.
- Enter the Bill number if paying Real Estate taxes located in the upper right of your bill. Omit the first 3 characters (01R)
- Enter your Account number if paying Personal Property taxes located directly below the barcode in the top right corner
- Enter a daytime phone number where you can be reached.
- Enter payment amount.
- Enter credit card information.
